What the diagnosis may look at
Riptide can consider power and voltage, controls, programming, suction and return flow, valves, baskets, filters, seals, bearings, and the motor itself. A pump that is not moving water is not automatically a failed pump; restrictions, air leaks, a closed valve, or a filter issue can create similar signs.
